Special Day for Tess

I feel bad that I'm so late in posting about this, but better late than never... right?! On June 5, 2011 our sweet baby Tess was given a beautiful blessing by her father. She looked like a little princess in her long, white dress that was made special for her by a very dear friend and second grandma of mine, Lois Hugie. I definitely missed having my dad and my grandpa in the circle this time, but was grateful to feel of their love from the other side. The men in the circle included Andy, Andy's dad, Brock, Ben, TJ, and Derek. Afterward we celebrated at the King's house with some yummy food. It was a great day and was so nice to spend time together with both our families.

I love my little Tess with all my heart. Every day I tell somebody else how lucky I am to have such an angel of a baby. This one came straight from heaven, that's for sure. She brings so much joy and love into our home and I couldn't feel more blessed to have her. It's kind of weird, but I feel strongly that she's been apart of our family from the very beginning, like before this life. I'm excited to watch her grow, learn, and develop.
